Cejar Lagoon, Eyes of Salar & Tebenquinche
- 6 hours
- Private tour
- English, Spanish
- Hotel pickup
Overview
This excursion connects three of the Atacama's most distinctive lagoons, each with its own character. Cejar is the one you float in: warm, intensely salty water surrounded by a ring of white crust. The Ojos del Salar are two perfectly round sinkholes filled with clear, still water that reflects the sky like a mirror. Laguna Tebenquinche stretches wide and shallow, turning pink and copper as the afternoon light drops. You visit them in sequence, timed so the last stop catches the sunset. The landscape between them is open salt flat and volcanic horizon, with almost nothing between you and the sky.
